MINNEAPOLIS, July 9, 2026 — The Zones of Regulation has launched Support Training for The Zones: Everyday Tips and Strategies, a new on-demand professional learning course designed specifically for adults who support learners using The Zones but are not responsible for directly teaching the framework.
Developed to help create greater consistency across the people and environments surrounding learners, Support Training gives school support staff, classroom teachers, community-based program staff, and other supportive adults practical ways to reinforce regulation skills throughout everyday routines and interactions.
The training focuses on moving beyond behavior management to build regulation skills, including how adults can use consistent language, supportive strategies, and co-regulation to help learners practice and carry their regulation skills across settings. Because the course is designed for those supporting rather than directly teaching The Zones, access to The Zones of Regulation Curriculum is not required to participate.
At 1 hour and 40 minutes, Support Training provides practical professional learning that can be completed on demand and revisited as needed. The training is available for $98 through The Zones Shop and can be easily accessed through The Zones digital platform.
