Building on a globally trusted framework, the new digital platform brings interactive, flexible learning to modern classrooms, clinics, and homes.
MINNEAPOLIS, July 2024 – The Zones of Regulation, the leading framework for fostering self-regulation and emotional well-being, is proud to announce the release of The Zones of Regulation® Digital Curriculum. This dynamic, web-accessed curriculum marks the evolution of the widely used print resource into an interactive, flexible platform designed to better meet the needs of today’s diverse learners across classrooms, therapy settings, and homes.
Since its debut in 2011, the original The Zones of Regulation print curriculum has made a global impact with more than 400,000 copies sold worldwide. The framework has come to life in countless settings thanks to educators and caregivers who have championed The Zones, adding creative touches and thoughtfully tailoring the approach to meet the needs of their learners.
After more than a decade of watching The Zones of Regulation transform how to teach and support self-regulation, we knew it was time to bring this work into the digital age,” said Leah Kuypers, founder and CEO of The Zones of Regulation. “The Zones Digital Curriculum builds on our evidence-based framework with interactive, ready-to-use teaching tools, engaging multi-sensory activities, an expanded library of printable visuals, and differentiated learning resources.
Developed from extensive feedback from educators, clinicians, and families, The Zones Digital Curriculum expands upon the original print curriculum with rich multimedia lessons and intuitive navigation that supports instruction, practice, and reflection. The curriculum includes 10 Core Concepts plus a “Tool of the Week” feature, offering hundreds of updated activities, strategies, and visuals that increase engagement and accessibility for learners across the diversity spectrum.
The new digital curriculum is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), supporting implementation in a range of learning environments and instructional models. Educators and program leaders can track growth with data-collection tools, reinforce consistency with common language, and differentiate instruction to individual needs — helping shift from reactive behavior management to proactive regulation support.
The Zones of Regulation Digital Curriculum is available by yearly subscription and includes onboarding support options to help educators launch with confidence. For more information, demo access, or pricing details, visit https://zonesofregulation.com/digital-curriculum/.
