Basic Training Course Description (2.75 clock hours):
Learn how to confidently start implementing The Zones of Regulation or get a creative boost if you are already on your Zones journey. In addition to exploring foundational concepts of The Zones, participants will review best practice strategies to build a Zones Climate and ensure implementation with fidelity.
Participants can expect to:
- Prepare to implement The Zones of Regulation Signature Practices:
- Categorize feelings and energy states into the four Zones
- Construct a Zones Check-In system to identify sensations and signals connected to each Zone
- Organize regulation tools into each Zone (Zones Toolbox)
- Utilize the Zones Pathway to support regulation
- Develop a solid understanding of the scope and sequence of The Zones curriculum to plan for engaging, meaningful, and differentiated instruction
- Apply key concepts and strategies to ensure implementation with fidelity
- Build an understanding of the educator/leader’s role in fostering a climate for regulation to thrive

Explore The Zones of Regulation Curriculum
Our trainings focus on using The Zones of Regulation framework presented in The 1st Edition, Zones of Regulation Curriculum (Kuypers, 2011) book and the All-NEW 2nd Edition, Digital Curriculum (Kuypers, 2024). When implementing The Zones it is imperative to have access to one of these editions for the detailed guidance, instruction, and visual materials that are contained within it. This will help to ensure the curriculum is implemented with fidelity.
The curriculum will be referred to throughout the webinar.

Our live training workshops provide a clear path to implementing the curriculum, as well as valuable insights into emotional self-regulation and the curriculum framework. We offer a 30 day replay/recording with all of our training. This means you have 30 days after the training date you registered for to playback the webinar during a time that works for you or rewatch it to extend your knowledge. Individual rates start at $110 USD per participant with group rates starting at 5+ participants.

- Webinars are conducted LIVE online via Zoom Webinar Format. In this format your camera and sound will be disabled.
- You will be able to communicate via the ‘Chat’ and ‘Q&A’.

Group Registration:
- When registering as a group, you have the option to view the webinar together or as individuals remotely.
- You will only enter one name/email on the registration page. The name and email address that you enter in the registration will be the lead contact for communication with your group.
- If participants will be viewing remotely, the lead contact will be responsible for sharing the information provided in the confirmation email with all participants.

- 5-49 – $99/per participant (10% discount)
- 50-199 – $88/per participant (20% discount)
